Incorrect Tire Pressure Information
Safety Recall
In plain English
Certain 2024-2025 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 and GMC Sierra 2500 trucks with the enhanced towing option and 20-inch accessory tire/wheel package have a tire information label that shows the wrong recommended rear tire pressure. This can lead to chronically underinflated tires, and the tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS) may not alert the driver because it is calibrated to the incorrect value. Driving on underinflated tires increases the risk of a crash. Dealers will inspect the vehicle, update the ECM software, apply a corrected tire label overlay, inflate tires to the proper pressure, and re-learn the TPMS at no charge.
