Defect
Aluminum Trailer Company (ATC) is recalling certain 2026 RM500 and RM700 trailers. The wireless handheld remote control may be incompatible with some legacy winches, resulting in unexpected winch movements.
Risk / consequence
A winch that operates unintentionally may increase the risk of injury.
Remedy
ATC will replace the wireless remote or provide a refund, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed August 31, 2026. Owners may call ATC customer service at 1-877-441-2440.
