Defect

Braun Corporation (Braun) is recalling certain 2023-2026 Chrysler Pacifica and Voyager vehicles. The spring inside the front seat harness connector may contact electrical terminals.

Risk / consequence

The unintended connection may prevent the air bags from deploying, increasing the risk of injury during a crash.

Remedy

Dealers will replace the spring, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed July 6, 2026. Owners may contact Braun's customer service at 1-800-488-0359.

Chronology of events

1. May 21, 2026

   5/21/2026 - BraunAbility was repairing units onsite due to illuminated airbag lights and found connector issues

2. May 22, 2026

   5/22/2026 - Shipment of Chrysler units was stopped while investigation was performed out of an abundance of caution.

3. May 27, 2026

   5/27/2026 - It was determined that the spring inside the connector in certain units was causing the failure.
