Brinkley RV (Brinkley) is recalling certain 2025-2026 Model Z trailers. The shock bolts may have been incorrectly tightened.
Risk / consequence
Broken shock retainer bolt heads and washers may detach and become a road hazard for other vehicles, increasing the risk of a crash.
Remedy
Dealers will replace the shock bolts, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed June 3, 2026. Owners may contact Brinkley's customer service at 1-574-501-4280. Brinkley's number for this recall is REC-2602. Vehicle Identification Numbers (VINs) involved in this recall will be searchable on NHTSA.gov beginning May 28, 2026.

4/30/26 Lippert informs Brinkley RV of TSB for Curt TCS Shock Bolts. 5/7/26 Lippert provides work instructions for shock bolt replacement. 5/8/25 BRV safety committee votes to issue LCI's TSB for the shock bolt replacement. 5/15/26 LCI Verbally informs Brinkley of upgrading of shock bolt campaign to Recall. 5/18/2026 Brinkley RV Safety Committee votes to implement LCI's Recall. 5/20/26 LCI provides Brinkley RV with defect notice and recall notification. Review of warranty indicates 33 claims related to TCS shock bolts.
