Defect
Keystone RV Company (Keystone) is recalling certain 2026 Montana fifth wheel recreational trailers. The underbelly may be improperly secured, causing it to detach.
Risk / consequence
A detached underbelly can become a road hazard for other vehicles, increasing the risk of a crash.
Remedy
Dealers will install C-channels and I-beams to secure the underbelly, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed April 15, 2026. Owners may contact Keystone customer service at 1-866-425-4369. Keystone's number for this recall is 26-482. Vehicle Identification Numbers (VINs) involved in this recall will be searchable on NHTSA.gov beginning May 28, 2026.
