Defect
Rosenbauer America (Rosenbauer) is recalling certain 2019-2022 Avenger, 2019-2024 Commander, and Warrior fire trucks equipped with an Innovative Controls instrument panel. A software error may cause the odometer to freeze and not display accurate mileage.
Risk / consequence
An inaccurate odometer reading can unintentionally delay critical safety-related maintenance, potentially impairing the safe operation of the vehicle and increasing the risk of a crash.
Remedy
Dealers will replace the instrument panel, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed September 10, 2025. Owners may contact Rosenbauer customer service at 1-651-462-1000.
